so it would not meet
your professional reporting standards, I have no data to share. Basically, a friend and I witnessed a UAP at night, no doubt at all, very clear. I also experienced something while I was off duty but was employed by the US Government at the time, however I was not acting in an official capacity and I never told anyone as long as I was employed by the US Government. Again, I have no data to provide.. I dont think my reporting would meet your professional standards, but I appreciate you Ryan..
Merged couldn't financially support the format that we selected to film- namely, in person and in studio. Another problem is many pilots are still fearful of repercussions and stigma, making the decision to publicly join a video chat problematic. I want to utilize this format to conduct anonymous, audio only interviews with pilots on this platform!
Understandable. Sorry to hear that. I enjoyed Merged; your Robin Hanson interview is one of my favorite theoretical conversations on this topic. I am excited to see what the allowance of anonymity might entail for witness encounters. Thank you for bringing something additive and meaningful to the UFO discussion, Ryan. Everything you do is with integrity and transparency. Cheers
Great to see this Ryan and listen in. Always admire your thoughtful approach. Seems academics are getting more interested now too with papers coming out. Regards and onwards!
These two are current you may also be aware of (I'm not involved BTW), the latter very interesting! Just passing on info.
Faculty perceptions of unidentified aerial phenomena (Nature, 2023)
"faculty think the academic evaluation of UAP information and more academic research on this topic are important. Curiosity outweighed scepticism or indifference."
National Science Foundation funded “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP): A Dialogue on Science, Public Engagement and Communication” (May, 2024), with a report on this coming, "working groups" and a "follow-on event".
Awesome to see you back and posting again Ryan. I absolutely loved Merged, I watched all of them and I’m looking forward to reading more as this grows 👌
Hey Ryan had a thought while i was at the airport last month. How about an Americans for Safe Aerospace tshirt? Would love to wear it while traveling; certain it would generate some curiosity amongst the general public and honestly would love to see the commercial pilots reactions during deboarding.
Thank you for dedicating so much of your time to this issue!

Thanks for being here!
Thanks for your leadership on this Ryan, Im not a pilot, just a retired Federal Law Enforcement Officer, I am a witness to multiple UAP events..
Hi Willie, I'd be happy to receive your reports through the reporting system at Americans for Safe Aerospace if you're open to sharing?

Glad to see you back. Can't wait for more updates.
Lots to talk about, glad your here!
Looking forward to what’s to come! Any chance Merged will return any time soon?

Thank you for letting us know. Disappointing but if financially unable, understandable.
This is a nice surprise! Welcome back to the conversation Ryan!
Nice, Ryan! Love this more direct format for you. 👊🙌

Great articles both, thanks for sharing!
Ah, I'm qualified but not an academic! Just seeing the trend upwards. Stigma lifting :-)
Love this concept as a way to connect directly with the community! Thanks for all that you do 👏🏽
Thanks Ronak!

Really? Cool. What you will do here?
Just visiting some family! My sister-in-law works for the Air Force, does scheduling for aircraft.
Ah very nice. Family is important! If you need anything in Germany - Just tell me in private chat. I‘m from Frankfurt✌🏼🖖
I just found out about this. I'm looking forward to reading your articles. Unfortunately I can only do the free subscription.
